About Our Hotel

Originally the site was a Palace for Emperor Nero, before being destryed in the barbarian invasions of the 5th century AD. The sight then became a monastary in the middle ages that Housed monks of the Dominican order. This lasted untill 1870 when Rome was Established on the sight of a Former Monastary Saint Christopher's hotel has been serving travellers and pilgrims since 1922. Located just outside Vatican City, Saint Christopher's offer those that stay there a great place with wich they can plan their travels in the city of Rome.
